Michael Wilkening started at Dräger back in 1994 after graduating in communications engineering and in biomedical engineering. Michael has a long track record in medical device innovation and portfolio management. In his role as Vice President Strategy & Business Development, he supports the teams in the Dräger Medical division in strategic portfolio development and the transformation into the digital age. In addition, Michael initiates collaborations with industry partners and healthcare providers to promote and implement medical device interoperability across manufacturers based on the new ISO/IEEE 11073 SDC standard.
